The Race for Free Spirit: A 50-Year Uprising is a once-in-lifetime show spotlighting taiko pioneers PJ & Roy Hirabayashi and their incredible 50-year journey. This unforgettable experience will take the audience through their quest for identity, passion for social activism, and unrelenting community-building efforts using taiko, the Japanese drum, as their voice. It will be held on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 at 3PM-4:30PM, Reception at 5PM at the School of Arts & Culture Theatre.
